Sabastion "Drew" Cassano
Face Claim: Zayn Malik
————————————————
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Orientation: Heterosexual
Position: Student
Godly Inheritance: Son of Theia
Power(s): Light Solidification- Has the ability to use the light around him and form it into a weapon, shield, armor, anything of his choosing as long as he has strength for it. He has to focus on the light around him to materialize and turn into whatever he pleases, it takes more mental strength to make bigger things. If he loses focus on the light it will dissipate and he will have to start over, which can be very frustrating and tiring. A light weapon or armor is only as strong as the wielder's mind. If the mind is weak, the sword is no better than a cheap knife bought from a flea market. The stronger the mind becomes the better it becomes, the stronger minds are able to have their light as strong as steel. During the night Drew will keep a flashlight on him, he can manipulate the light that comes from the flashlight and turn it into a sword. The flashlight sword is not even close in comparison to light that has been solidified from the sun though, it is much weaker and easier to manipulate as well.
Limitations:
Drew is still learning his power to materialize light into objects, the power is coming slow to him and requires him to be mentally strong enough to control it. There has to be light around for him to be able to control it, in complete darkness his power is useless. It takes mental strength for him to materialize the light, he has to be able to multi-task and focus on more than one thing at once, the second he loses focus on his power it will be gone. Right now with his mental strength he is only able to materialize light for roughly two hours, any longer and he over exerts himself.
Side-Effects:
Materializing light into a weapon or form of defense can be very tiring on him, it takes a lot of mental strength to control the light and can exhaust him quickly if he tries pushing the limits or using it for too long. If he's in an area that isn't well-lit his powers become weaker and harder to materialize. When he tries using his powers too long at once he starts feeling nauseous and gets a severe headache that lasts for quite a while.
Height: 5'09"
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Brown
Physical Description: Drew has always been physically fit, to say the least. His body is toned from all the vigorous training with his father. He is usually seen wearing either a dress shirt with khaki shorts and boat shoes. His ears are pierced and wears standard diamond earrings most of the time, sometimes he will wear small hoops instead. His hair is usually spiked up (same in the picture) and is never seen without his backpack.
He has a beard/mustache growing in that is black, not matching his hair at all. His perfect white teeth are something you would only see on TV or in movies. Also his eyes were always sad looking, when he looks at someone it appears he's looking through the person.
Personality: He was raised to treat others how he wanted to be treated in return. Although he's always been a little hot-headed, he manages to keep his cool. Sometimes, a bit of an introvert even though he wants everyone to know who he is. When he feels threatened or that someone is getting too close to him he tends to builds up walls by making jokes.
Being a single child it didn't take much for Drew to get what he wanted. He was never necessarily handed anything, if he wanted something he'd have to do extra chores around the house and earn it. This made him become diligent and knowing nothing in life comes free. He loved making money any chance he could get, the more the better. He might like having money but he is no stranger to spending it, the money can disappear just as soon as it came in his pocket, he enjoyed going out and shopping.

Childhood: Drew grew up with a loving family, they taught him the values of becoming a good man, always encouraged going outdoors and enjoying nature for what it is instead of spending numerous hours rotting one's brain staring at a television or talking on the phone for hours. Which is probably why he can be so introverted and puts walls up whenever there is no need for them. His father James believed strongly that he should know how to defend himself if the time ever arised, although Drew had no idea why anybody would want to harm him. Throughout his youth he learned how to fight hand-to-hand as well as with swords. The only person who knew about his skills was his friend Will because he was embarrassed that he had to learn how to fight. There were no and's, if's, or but's. His parents were very nice and caring, but when it came to his safety he knew there would be consequences if he were to deny training with his father.
His best friend Will has a few years older than Drew but that didn't stop them from hanging out all the time and truly getting to know each other. Will died at a very young age, around 14 years old. This absolutely devastated Drew, losing one of his only friends that actually understood him. They connected such a deep bond that it seemed as though they were brothers. Drew spent weeks in his room after hearing the horrible news, he didn't even attend his best friend's funeral he was so distraught and now felt alone in the world. After months of grieving Drew realized it isn't what Will would have wanted, spending hours in his room not interacting with anybody. Will was pushing Drew to become a better man even through the grave. There is much you can learn about someone's life even after death if you just pay attention and listen.
Adolescence: He couldn't believe what his parents were telling him, Drew had to leave home and go to a school in a city where he knows nobody. He would then truly feel lonely being so far away from his family. There was no discussing or arguing against it. After his 15th birthday he had to pack his bags and be on his way to this boarding school his parents told him were necessary. He could feel strange things happening around himself lately though. As if people were watching him closely and trying to find an opportune moment to snatch him away, he actually felt grateful of his father's lessons. It was beginning to annoy him a lot with all of the cold stares that he had gotten in the past few weeks. Some jerks would even bump into him with a great amount of force and not even apologize or look back at him.
The train ride to the Corinth was only the beginning of what was to come. Soon he would see and start believing things he never thought was possible. The whole train ride to Corinth he could feel a cold glare coming from a very pretty woman. He hoped it was just the woman thinking the young man was adorable or something, but with a glare like that it was easy to tell that it wasn't something so simple. When Drew stepped off the train he noticed that the woman was following him, so he began walking at a very fast pace, nearly running. It was to no avail though, the woman was much quicker than he was. She slithered over to him and began hissing at Drew. At first the only thing Drew thought was that his eyes were playing tricks on him or that he might've been given drugs, but neither of those options were feasible. He had no weapons and didn't intend on fighting a mythical Lamia with his bare fists. He tried running the opposite way back towards the train but the woman moved very quickly with her snake-like body. The woman got close to Drew and began sputtering some crap about being kin to a woman named Theia and referred to the boy as a Demi-Titan(right?). In the distance the two of them heard gunfire and a man running towards the two of them. The man must've seen the snake woman and thought only the worst for the boy. The Lamia slithered away as quickly as possible, wanting to live another day and shouted that it was Drew's lucky day.

Sample:(Too lazy to write just for a sample so I took some old work)Kalin hurried in to the pub as he had been walking all day, and was nearly dying of thirst. Making his way to the bar he couldn't help but notice there was a small yet interesting group forming around an elfish man. He grabbed at seat at the bar and pulled it out to allow himself to sit. "Just a glass of water, please." He said to the bartender and patiently awaited to get rid of the awful dry feeling in his mouth. He has never really been one to drink in his young age. The bartender handed him the water and watched as he gulped it down just as quick as he got it. "Another please." He smiled at the man who looked in shock at how fast a young man could take down a big glass of water. He enjoyed the next glass that the man handed him and set down a few coins for his drinks. "Anyways, I've come looking for work. Something exciting, dangerous, maybe even illegal!" He knew he was talking louder than he probably should have but in a place as busy as this one he just assumed that nobody could hear their conversation. "Have you checked the quest board? I'm sure there is something that might be of interest to you there." The bartender sounded like a robot, probably saying that line a hundred times a day to adventurers who come wandering in wanting to find work. "Yes of course I've checked it! It's all rubbish! Do you want to know what my last quest was? We rounded up a bunch of fucking cats from a dead woman's house. Does that excite you? Because I was very thrilled having to make my way through piles of trash for a whole week." Kalin was a little hot headed but he was never the person to lose his cool. "I'd rather roll over and die than ever do a pitiful quest like that again. Please, you have to know of something more adventurous!"
The bartender shook his head, "Sorry mate, the only thing I know of that you're seeking for around here is on that there quest board I was telling you about." Kalin understood completely and thanked the man for allowing him to sit and chat for a while. Looking over he noticed that a young woman with short brown hair had her hands all over the man he had noticed earlier, one hand around his neck and the other holding his privates. A tinge ran through his back as he felt the pain that the Elf has to be feeling, and it wasn't pleasant at all. He decided it wasn't time to leave the place yet as surely something fun was about to break out. He walked over to the table next to the two who looked to be in an argument and sat down. He threw his sack on the table and started going through his supplies making sure he would be alright for the night. "Coins getting low." He meant to only think about saying it but the words just slipped out as he sighed. He kept his eyes on the woman strangling the man hoping for a nice bar fight, this girl looked very tiny and probably was a whole foot and a half shorter than the man she was holding onto. Kalin was amazed at the strength this woman had. Obviously the two had come to agreement when the chick with the horns released the man and was given a sack that had coin in it. Ah, of course. Everything is always about the coin. I don't blame her though, you do whatever's necessary for yourself. He thought to himself as his hopes of seeing a fight tonight were gone.
