WE DO NOT ALLOW PLAGIARISM IN ANY FORM. YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY BE BANNED.

The App is pretty easy going though, so have at it!
Now then, onto PB’s! Here at Olympus Falls, the PBs (Play by’s [what picture your character uses for appearance]) have to be real humans. We limit these humans to celebrities or at least those considered famous (Youtubers count) or those who have had their pictures professionally done.
Listed below are banned PBs. We’d like to respect their wishes not to be here, so please don’t put them in an app. You will have to choose another.

Now, normally to create a new character, you will need 25 posts on the most recently created character you have. Since the site is new, your first 3 characters are free! But, once you hit the 3rd, you’ve got to rack up those 25 posts. So go thread and have fun!
Note that there is no-- I repeat-- NO limit to the amount of characters you can make. HOWEVER! We ask that you limit yourself to the amount that you can keep healthily active. Creating new city dwellers can be fun, but be sure that you’re not neglecting the characters you already have.
Also, we understand that some celebrities are gender fluid and thus not defined by male or female. We ask that you please respect this PB's stated gender pronoun (he, she, they) when filling out claims.
Here at Olympus Falls, there’s the option of turning in the two paragraphs for personality before the rest of your app is done and having us choose which god/goddess your character descended from. However it’s not a requirement and solely for fun if you wish to do so.
Activity
Here at Olympus Falls, in order for your characters to remain active and on board, you’ve got to at least post once a month on a character. Note that this will only keep THAT character safe. If you don’t post on your other characters, they will be retired.
But have no fear! Any character can be brought back into action from retirement! Just ask a staff member and they’ll help you out! And if you want to do the opposite and retire a character, just ask again and we’ll hop to it!
As an additional note, apps that haven't been touched for over two weeks will be denied, but ALL denied apps are saved by staff! You can PM a staff member at any time and they will bring back the app fully in tact!
We get that sometimes you’ve got to get off the site for a time and be absent. It’s fine! Just post an absence and how long you’ll roughly be gone for, and we’ll keep your characters nice and safe!
Word Count
At Olympus Falls, you don’t have to worry about word count or ‘site level’. That means you can post as much or as little as you please, and you can come in completely new or a seasoned veteran! Doesn’t matter, we’ll welcome you all!
Any type of format is allowed into posts. So if you want to make your post super format fancy or with no format at all, go for it! All we ask is that you keep it readable and don’t have any glaring colors to hurt someone’s eyes. Harder to reply to you that way!
OOC Chatbox // OOC Behavior
For those of you who are new, OOC mean “Out of Character.” Which means you directly!
Regarding OOC behavior, we ask that you follow the golden rule and do to others what you want in return. Please be respectful in and out of the Cbox. Directly attacking a person for their beliefs and stances will result in punishment. We understand not everyone agrees, but please at least be tolerant.
Triggering topics should also be dealt with respectfully.
Disrespect includes racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, and etc. We want everyone to feel welcome here, so please don't be mean! If you feel that a line has been crossed, by another member or even staff, please contact one of the staff and tell them. Especially if it's staff! We're supposed to be setting the example!
On another lighter note, please keep extensive plotting from the main Cbox. Tossing around ideas and getting things started is perfectly fine, but we’d appreciate it if the details and nitty gritty were taken to PMs. Besides, all the better to wow and surprise us all!
On another topic not relating to the Cbox, please do not clique post. This means you’re only threading with the same person over and over and over without trying anyone else. This can come off as mean and kind of disrespectful to everyone else, so please try not to only thread with one person. Try everyone out, and I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun!
On the flip side, please do not nag and pester someone for plots, posts, or threads. Everyone has their own pace, and sometimes they can be swamped with things outside Olympus Falls. They will eventually get to your post. However, if it’s been a few days, feel free to poke them in the PMs and just ask politely if they forgot. Sometimes that can happen with a bunch of other things going on.
As a related topic, this is a forum based RP-site, so you don’t have to necessarily be on at the same time as the person you’re threading with. Once you reply, it will be in the thread for the other person to reply to when they get on!

Here at Olympus Falls, we understand that-- hey-- a lot of things are going to go down and characters can get into all kinds of trouble. However, we do ask that you please keep it (sex, violence, etc) within the PROBOARDS TOS.
Some threads can have triggering effects for others, so please mark threads with excessive violence, self-harm, drugs, etc. with a trigger to warn those that might be thread stalking. Please fade/skip ahead when things escalate from hot-n-bothered to taking-care-of-business (Also counts for violence: when it starts getting to the nitty gritty detail, might be a bit far there son).
Swearing IS allowed, however if you have any questions, or are unsure if something might be going too far please feel free to ask.
Power playing isn't allowed. That basically means your character can't just go something like "Suzie cut off Robert's leg" without asking permission from the other character's owner. You can do critical attacks to other characters, but you have to discuss it first and give in return. Your character shouldn't be invincible unless it's something like an extremely fresh recruit and a super seasoned veteran (Aka enormous experience gap).

Just know that we want everyone to have fun! Please feel free to message any staff about any questions or suggestions and we’ll get to you ASAP!
