Logan and Riley have a…unique situation. Both have the ability to cast illusions, except that Riley can only cast ones that manipulate auditory senses. Although hers are slightly more powerful than Logan's auditory illusions.

Logan on the other hand can cast illusions that affect all of the senses, and her power is actually as strong as someone with illusions solely. This is because while Logan and Riley were in the womb, Logan acted as a sort of leech and stole a great deal of Riley’s power. Logan also has minor magic although it is only half as strong as her illusion power. Mainly Logan uses it along with typical rituals in order to make wards or other such magical nonsense.

Limitations:
Riley can only cast auditory illusions, and those with the ability to detect illusions can recognize and hear through them.

Logan’s illusions, while powerful, can similarly been seen through by someone with the ability to detect illusions or something similar. However since her illusions are more powerful, it would take a more powerful detection to tell what was real and what was fake.

Both of their illusion powers rely on how much others can believe they’re real. For example, no human would believe a giant purpler dragon is real. The illusion would therefore not have any hold on reality and couldn’t do anything other than appear. Things and people could phase through it and even dispel it. As such, their illusions stick to things that people could readily believe is real (Aka: an illusion of Logan or small objects, etc.)

Riley can maintain her auditory illusions for about half an hour comfortably. More than that and she has to focus more. An hour is her max and by the time she reaches that she passes out or has a horrific headache.

Logan’s magic does not extend to offensive traits. What it allows her to do is manipulate the magic mainly involved in enchantments. As such it allows her to enchant items or wield items with enchantments to a higher potential (Aka her magic would latch onto the already existing magic and pour more into it, making it stronger while she uses it). She can’t make fire appear from her hands or anything like that.

Side-Effects:
Leading up to their respective limits, the twins will experience headaches, exhaustion, an increasing difficulty to focus over the pain in their entire bodies, and slightly blurred vision. In extreme cases, should the maintained illusion be extraordinarily complex (Like the giant dragon mentioned above), then it’s possible for them to pop a vein. Once they reach their limit they pass out and normally require a great deal of water, food, and a day of complete rest.

Physical Description: Both have a lot of tattoos on their bodies. However the main difference is Logan has a large raven tattoo on her back, and Riley has a fox. Logan also tends to wear more masculine clothing than Riley and more almost “business like” attire. Riley usually has punkish outfits on and more color. You can also tell between the two because Riley’s usually smiling and Logan has an exceptional poker face.

Personality: Riley and Logan are practically complete opposites. Riley is a fun-loving dork who often pulls pranks and generally loves hanging out with others. She’s the one who created their DJ identity and it mainly the talker for the two of them. She’s silly and don’t care to show it, although she will easily get flustered if someone compliments her. She is very kindhearted and usually tries to believe in the best of anyone.

Logan on the other hand is silent and mysterious, commonly letting Riley do the major part of the talking for the two of them. She often comes off as cold and genuinely scary to some people. Her expression is almost always flat and unreadable, and most of the time she seems like she’s dissecting the people she looks at to find out what’s at the core of their beings. While she doesn’t give off the friendliest vibe (More so a “I’ll murder you in your sleep and no one will ever know” kind), she will converse with people if addressed. She even manages to smile sometimes if someone amuses her enough, but whether or not you want her to actually acknowledge your existence isn’t really clear. Most people she glances over and hardly cares for; but she always remembers.

However there are some traits the twins share. For one they’re extremely loyal to family; Logan even more so for her sister and their godly mother. She’s fine with their mortal parents, but she is not nearly as devoted to them as she is Hecate or her sister. Another thing they have in common is their evaluation of people. Heritage, godly or otherwise, does not matter a bit to the twins. They view people by their personalities and their own actions. They will treat a child of Poseidon just as they would child of Kronos; how they value the person depends on the person’s own behavior.

Secret(s): Riley has no secrets; she’s an open book. Logan on the other hand has enough secrets to fill up a series around 12 books long. Anyone who has tried reading these “books” typically ends up disappearing under mysterious circumstances……

The two girls sit down next to each other, looking remarkably similar. Although the one sitting down on the left is wearing more masculine clothing with an unreadable expression on her face. There’s an air of danger around her that isn’t obvious but makes the air tense while she leisurely observes the interviewer. in contrast, the girl on the right is in some sort of punk attire with a slight smile on her face. Unlike her sister, she has a genuinely friendly and warm air about her that makes her more approachable. Even though the difference between the two is obvious, so is the fact they’re twins.

”Sure! We’re glad to!” The girl on the left said nothing and let her cheerful sibling speak.

Alright. So, Logan and Riley Diacha, correct?

”You got it buddy. I’m Riley, and this is Logan.”

You’re both descendants of Hecate, right?

”Correctomundo.” Logan cracks the faintest hint of a smirk but it vanishes immediately.

Can you tell me a little about how you found out about your godly mother?

”Sure! Although we’d need to sort of describe all of it I guess. I’ll sum it up quickly.” She shifted more comfortably in her seat before holding up her hands, looking more than ready to tell a story. ”Hecate visited one of our moms years ago and magically impregnated her.”

Wait, ‘one of’ you moms?

”Yup! We’ve got two mortal mothers. It’s awesome!” Logan shifted in her seat and surprisingly spoke up.

”Kristina was the one Hecate impregnated. She was a mortal witch with a surprising aptitude for magic despite having not a drop of godly blood in her. Hecate saw her potential and decided to simultaneously use that to make magically empowered children while also rewarding a a loyal witch. From what I’ve heard it was a….magical night.” Riley and the interviewer blushed slightly, but Riley ended up laughing. The interviewer cleared his throat.

Yes well… Please go on Riley.

”Gotcha. Where was I? Oh right! So After that…. ‘magical’ night, Kristina eventually had us. Logan was the first to be born, but according to our mom she was holding onto my foot so I was right after her.” They shared a look and Logan smirked slightly before Riley went on.

”Our mom knew what we were from the very beginning, so in all honesty there was never any question about where we came from. It was only a question of when our godly blood would awaken. Until it did our mom actually taught us about witchcraft and magic. Logan was a natural when it came to the rituals and all the things you needed for runes and spell circles, and all that good stuff. Me not so much but honestly I think that’s because I wasn’t paying as much attention. Logan can attest to that.” Riley glanced at the other girl and she nodded, chuckling.

”Riley wasn’t as interested in the more tedious parts of magic casting, but she was very interested in setting our mortal parents up with each other. Logan threw Riley a pointed look and the girl grinned.

”What can I say? Mom was so happy when she met our mother it was adorable. She came home the one day and was all smiley. It was so adorable. How could I not? But apparently I was a good match maker cause they got together! It was sooooooo cute and I love our mother. She was even cool about the witchcraft and magic thing. I think that was what made mom realize she was the one. I love them both so much. Which I think is part of what made them come with us when we finally activated our godly blood when we were 14. We were still their babies so they didn’t want us to be alone when we went to Olympus Falls.”

I see! How was the school to you when you first arrived?

”Good! We didn’t run into much trouble, and only got grief over our moms once. I… actually never saw those kids again. Have you Logan?” Logan shook her head when Riley glanced at her, so Riley shrugged. 

Odd. Well, I’m glad the school has been kind to you! And the town too it seems. I’ve heard you’re both pretty famous, aren’t you?

”I don’t know about how famous we are, but yeah we’re ‘The Twin Devils.’ We DJ around the town a tonnnnnn. Logan’s abilities really help with the light shows, and mine really help with the sound! Our shows are always packed! I’m so glad people like them so much!”

Speaking of powers, what are yours?

”I can cast illusions and use minor magic. Riley can also cast illusions, both they’re only auditory in nature.” Riley smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of her neck.

”Yeah I sort of drew the short end when it comes to powers, but I’m ok with that. Logan makes up for what I don’t really have anyways. Besides, i only use my powers for practice or our shows, so it’s fine.”
