There had been some troubling reports about a strange creature lurking around the school perimeter during the day. Hearing as much and knowing the academy had a night security dude, she had decided to pitch in and help. She wasn't invited of course, but that seemed less important.
Echo stood leaning against the school's main entrance with her arms crossed, figuring the security man would be exiting from there. She'd decided to wait until meeting and organizing the patrol to shift her form. A large maned wolf in the middle of a campus might spark an accidental brawl, and while fighting some kind of Hellhound (she'd only heard rumors about this man's form and was guessing) sounded incredibly exciting, that night they had other priorities.
Her leather jacket creaked when she pushed off the wall, hearing footsteps coming from inside the school. Considering how the moon was already rising she doubted it was any other students or staff, and stood expectantly for the stranger to appear. Her posture was loose but confident, already primed for a night of patrolling, and hopefully fighting.
"Evening," she greeted with a two-fingered salute as Alistair appeared. "You're planning on investigating that disturbance by the footfall field, yeah? Mind if I tag along?"

The rumours of some creature prowling the edges of the football field hadn't gone unheard. The sheer accumulation of beings featuring some form of godly or titan bloodline in one area was practically a beacon for those that selected the children as easy prey. While many fed on humans in some form when they couldn't get the god born or titan born in between their teeth, many desperately sought and hungered for the rarer breed, risking coming close to the school in some hope to catch student off guard. What exactly the creature was Alistair was uncertain at this point, but it wouldn't be long until he'd find out and dealt with the animal by what means were necessary. Alistair often worked alone, partly out of choice and partly because few members of staff wanted to work with a Hound of Hades. He had never paid the notion much heed however; Working with others or alone, as long as what needed to done was done, he couldn't much care less. Night had come quickly, and with the instruction from the headmaster to deal with the incident tonight, Alistair stepped out into the cool of the late evening. He'd been aware of the presence of another just outside the doors before he'd even passed the threshold, although he was a touch intrigued by the fact it was the combat trainer. He stood silently, his hands slipping into his suit trouser pockets as he watched the young woman, noting her oozing confidence, the way her voice pitched on certain words and her elevated heart rate informing him of Echo's excitement at the whole situation.
While he's listened to her words with little expression, the corner of his lips quirked up when she'd finished. He moved to walk past her, speaking as he did so. "If you wanna tag along kid, then let me lay a few things out for ya. What I say goes. Don't go off actin' the wild animal because ya fancy blood on your claws," He spoke casually; He knew Echo's ability, and given the confidence and excitement she was displaying, it was a fair assumption that given the first chance she intended on leaping into her wolfen state. That being said, Alistair could not deny the pluses of taking a combat trainer out on patrol. He paused, and looked over his shoulder towards the young woman. "Well? I ain't got all day. Ya ganna keep up?"
