Bloodlines and Power List
The children, many teachers and some of those residing in Corinth City have been blessed, or cursed depending on your view, as descendants of Gods and Goddesses, or children of Titans. While there are a significant number of each, the only God bloodlines currently available to be descendants from are listed below, along with the abilities and powers a descendant may gain from that particular bloodline. More will be added as the site grows.
A note on powers: Characters can have anywhere from all of the abilities in their bloodline to only one. The more a character has, the weaker each one is. If your character only has one ability, for example flight, it will be significantly stronger then someone with flight and heightened reactions and, as a caution, if they have four or more powers, then each of those abilities will not be much more than what most humans can do on a regular basis. All powers come with weaknesses and side effects, and these can vary from character to character, and must be written up in your character app.Explaining how multiple powers work.
As there's been a bit of confusion over this, allow me to make a cheesy explanation. Imagine each power's strength is like a pie. If a character only has one power, that power gets the whole pie and thus the whole strength. If a character has two powers, the pie is cut in half so both the powers could not have the full pie for their strength. If a character has three or four powers, then the pie would be cut up into thirds or fourths respectively while all taking from the same pie of strength.
The portions cut from the pie do not necessarily need to be equally proportionate, meaning the multiple powers of a character would not need to be of exact equal strength. For example a character could have two powers but one "primary" power that has more strength than the other. In terms of pie portions that would mean the cuts from the pie aren't equal (one is smaller than the other), but they still add up to the same amount of pie. In this way members can divvy out varying amounts of strength to different powers as they see fit. But still keep in mind that pies with more slices (aka characters with more powers) will have smaller slices than pies with less (aka characters with fewer powers or only one).
Hopefully this helps.
Also yes we just compared powers to pie.Current Bloodlines AvailableZeusThe Thunder God and Ruler of Olympus
One of the most prolific bloodlines, Zeus's descendants are many, and one of the most powerful lineages. They're held in high regard by some, and hated quite openly by many Titan breeds. One of the current ruling families of Corinth, the Leclaires, are descendants of the thunder god and they are the strongest family of demigods that has existed in generations.Power List:
- Electrokinesis (The ability to control electricity)
- Aerokinesis (The ability to control air)
- Inherent ability to lead
- Ability to commune with birds
- Limited flight
- Danger Intuition
- Weakness Detection
- Truth Inducement (The ability to force others to tell the truth)
PoseidonBrother of Zeus and Ruler of the Oceans
Poseidon's descendants are the other highly prolific bloodline. They are in near constant dispute with the descendants of their Godly inheritor's brother Zeus. However, the Reyes, like the Leclaires, are adored and revered by many while being hated by most Titan offspring.Power List:
- Ability to breathe underwater
- Ability to empathize/communicate with horses/natural skill in the saddle
- Ability to commune with various fish
- Hydrokinesis (The ability to control water)
- Cryokinesis (The ability to control ice)
- Natural ability to navigate the open ocean and read currents
- Ability to shapeshift into a particular ocean dwelling creature
- Increased strength while in water
HadesBrother of Zeus and Ruler of the Underworld
Although one of the big three prolific bloodlines, the descendants of Hades have taken a more relaxed approach to the dispute and battle of power. They often keep to themselves, and seem generally disinclined to get involved, although it's unclear if there's an ulterior motive to the reason why. Hades actually keeps it in his pants relatively well compared to the other two.Power List:
- Invisibility
- Communication with spirits
- Osteokinesis (Bone Manipulation, but only those of the dead)
- Umbrakinesis (Shadow Manipulation)
- Geokinesis (Earth Manipulation)
- Supernatural Awareness (They can see creatures hiding themselves with magic. They may also be able to see past the glamours of children of Aphrodite)
- Night vision
- Power to Detect Precious Stones and/or Metals
NOTE: All children of Hecate and Hades can visit the Underworld without any ill effect.HermesMessenger of the Gods
Hermes' descendants, annoyed at being seen as below other bloodlines, have taken full advantage of the general disputes going on and working it to their favor. Some members of this bloodline have taken to running an underground black market for magical artifacts and other goods. The Titan offspring generally don't hold as much hatred for children of Hermes and they seem to be almost tolerant of their demititan counterparts.Power List:
- Heightened Reflexes
- Persuasion (The ability to influence others with suggestion using their voice)
- Healing powers
- Flight
- Natural Medical Knowledge/skill
- Multilingualism (The ability to understand and speak multiple languages without studying them)
- Enhanced Speed
- Night Vision
ArtemisThe Huntress
Generally skilled trackers and hunters, children of this bloodline often go into the Special Police Force or a craftsman type business, often with many families following in this tradition. Overall they are sided with Zeus' children, and are generally disliked greatly by the Titan offspring. Because Artemis is a virgin goddess, she does not actually have a child by normal means. Instead she either marks the child of a parent she deems worthy (Usually a worthy hunter in some meaning) and grants them her blessing- rendering them her “descendant” and carries of her “blood”-and abilities or she creates a child through magic and gifts it to the mortal parent. As such there are “Marked” children and “Moon” children, as they believe she creates them from the moon's (Her symbol of power) own rays. There is hardly any dissent between the two as Artemis values both equally.Power List:
- Hunting Prowess (Innate ability to use hunting weaponry)
- Night Vision
- Communication with animals
- Heightened Senses
- Tracking Abilities
- Proficiency for setting traps
- Ability to shift into a hunting animal
- Enhanced Reflexes
- Enhanced Dexterity
AphroditeThe Goddess of Love
Known for being heart-breakers, children of this bloodline vary greatly. Some go on to become actors and politicians, although many make fantastic sex workers or exotic dancers. While adored by some, their general reputation for being untrustworthy in love has left them generally being viewed in a poor light. Where their alliance falls generally seems to vary from family to family.Power List:
- Charm
- Persuasion (The ability to influence others by using their voice)
- Glamour (An ability to shift appearance to match anyone else's desires)
- Empathy (The ability to sense others' emotions)
- Desire Sense (The ability to sense what someone else desires)
- An innate ability to understand and use any type of love to their advantage
- Innate knowledge of sexual desire, even if they themselves are not of a particular sexuality
AresThe God of War
Children of this God generally lean towards physical careers, anything from the police force to the army. Known to be fantastic fighters, their loyalty seems to waver on family tradition or personal experience. They're greatly disliked by Titan children.Power List:
- Adaptive Muscle Memory (The ability to memorise and mimic physical skills, such as martial arts)
- Enhanced Endurance and Resilience
- Enhanced Strength when feeling high emotion
- High Pain Tolerance
- Enhanced Perseverance
- Telumkinesis (The ability to master a weapon upon contact)
- Enhanced Reflexes
- Fear/Phobia Resistance
Hecate
The Goddess of Magic (And Witch’s heart)
Children of Hecate, like those of Hades, seem very disinclined to get involved with the ongoing power struggle. Generally keeping to themselves, and often far more close knit and mysterious then that of Hades' children, it's again unsure what their true motives are, or if they have any at all beyond keeping out of the disputes.

Power List:
- Ability to conceal themselves and their magic from other Demigods
- Ability to weave illusions (The illusions a descendant of Hecate can weave operate a little differently than any other god’s descendent’s ability. Illusions for Hecate’s children are just a branch from the magical ability, although they are a particularly big one. The reason why is because the more a people/people believe an illusion is real, the more real it becomes. So if an illusion of a knife were created and someone thought the knife was actually part of the material world and was there, it can cut them just as a real knife would. The illusions also manipulate all of the senses, although for some children one area in particular is easier to manipulate. Extremely skilled illusionists can only be discovered by other godly children with a particular skill to see through the illusion. And even then, watch your back)
- Magic (curses n' the like)
- Necromancy
- Elemental Manipulation
- Enhanced Memory
Athena
The Goddess of Wisdom
Natural teachers, lawyers and cloth makers, children of this bloodline are often very independent. Despite most bloodlines having roughly equal coloration between male and female, children of Athena are primarily female. Their loyalty is based on personal experience more then anything else. Also, as Athena is also a virgin goddess, she does not sire children in the typical way. Her children are created by Athena much like Athena herself was from Zeus; through her mind and the mortal parent’s. These “mind” children are conceived and then created with Athena’s magic. She then gives them to the mortal she had deemed worthy as a gift.

Power List:

- Telumkinesis (The ability to master a weapon upon contact with it)
- Enhanced Intelligence
- Enhanced Knowledge Retention (The ability to memorise knowledge very quickly, and retain it)
- Enhanced Emotional Control (The ability to regulate emotion. For example despite feeling intense emotions, they can control these and easily push them aside)
- Ability to communicate with owls
- Ability to shapeshift into an owl
Hera
Wife of Zeus and Goddess of Fertility
Siding very much on the side of Zeus, children of Hera are generally incredibly loyal, and are hated by children of Titans. Many are employed in the Special Police Force and as recruiters for Olympus Falls, since many can tell parentage by merely looking at a person.
