Enhanced Weaving 

In Jennifer, the weaving power manifests as an increased skill in weaving material, along with making clothes.  Her skill in clothing weaving is more than Jessica because while Jessica's version of this power manifests as clothing weavery, it mostly manifests as an ability to weave stories and lies, among other things.  Jess has a special skill for telling tall tales.  Whether other people believe them or not depends on the story and the person.  Some of them prefer to think Jess is telling the truth.  Jess's skill at weaving tales relies on the fact her power helps lend a feeling to it.  People who are looking for the truth can see through it, but otherwise when Jess lies people often just...want to believe what she's saying.  

Telumkinesis 

The first month of learning a skill, the twins have to struggle like everybody else.  Just like a human learning a new skill.  After that first month though, their telumkinesis kicks in.  Then, it will be like they've been training and honing that skill for a couple more months than they actually have been.  Basically the power means their brains learn the skill at an acclerated rate.  Information that would take a normal human much longer to learn is processed by the twins at least two months faster. The maximum on that time period is five months, but that is only with perfect control.  They are far from perfect control, so it's only two months.  Basically their telumkinesis decreases the time needed to become adept in a martial art.  Same thing applies to weapons.  


Limitations:

Enhanced Weaving:

Jennifer:
- Her skill at weaving clothing is about the speed that a garment that took a skilled human weaver two months, it would only take her one.  

Jessica:
- Her skill at weaving clothing is about the speed that a garment that took a skilled human weaver three weeks, it would only take two weeks.  
- Jess's skill at weaving tales relies on the fact her power helps lend a feeling to it. People who are looking for the truth can see through it.
- Jess can forget what she's lied about just like everyone else.  She's honed her mind so that she doesn't forget as much, but that memory is only at a human level, so she still messes up sometimes.


Telumkinesis:
- they have to struggle for the first month like everyone else learning multiple weapons or martial arts
- only boosts the skill forward a couple of months
- maximum of five months boosted forward, and that's only with perfect telumkinesis control
- cannot control when it kicks in
- does not develop the muscles needed by professionals in a skill.  They have to develop those muscles on their own.
- they can forget a skill if they don't practice it

Physical Description: Jennifer has no tattoos, but her ears are pierced.  She wears whatever she's comfortable in, which can be anything from a colourful bikini to a polyester t-shirt.  It all depends on the day.


Jessica's more at home in leather and the clothing of a tomboy.  She'll wear dresses just like Jennifer sometimes, but she prefers more casual clothing.  Denim, leather, t-shirts.  That sort of thing.




Personality:

Jennifer:
"Please don't jump to conclusions we aren't identical."


That sentence basically sums up Jen's personality.  Don't get me wrong, she's a badass in her own way, but she's more polite than Jessica.  Less blunt.  A bit of a gentler way of doing things.  If she was an element, she'd likely be a gently rolling wave.

Jessica:
"Who said we were identical?  We're fraternal, you moron."

Whereas Jen's a gently rolling wave, Jess is more like a wildfire.  Or maybe a tsunami.  If she has something she wants to say, she says it.  Sometimes she prefers to stay quiet, but she can also burst out with a temper too.


Wait a second.  Did you seriously just describe Jen as a 'gently rolling wave'?  I'm Jess and you are not getting away with that crap.  I'm willing to tell it like it is without dressing it up so that it doesn't hurt the feelings of any miss prisses.  And before you ask, no you cannot do it with twins.  Cannot and will not happen.  You probably wouldn't even be able to get the guts to ask, never mind the guts to get it up.

Childhood: Before we tackle Jen and Jess's childhoods, there's a few things you should know about their family.  The Black family has been involved with the gods for generations.  In the 1700s, there was a struggling author named Marvin Black.  Despite how he was struggling though, he still worked hard at writing.  Much information has been lost about what went on, but basically there was a war and hope was badly needed.  Marvin kept on writing, and he wrote a series of romance novels.  They spread hope in love, and Aphrodite blessed him for his part in the heroics.  What no-one really expected was that since Aphrodite is highly sought after among the gods, the blessing on Marvin's bloodline meant the bloodline became very attractive to the gods and goddesses.  He was only human, but the blessing did that.  Another thing that nobody expected was that it was very sexual in nature.  Basically, Marvin was catnip.  Later on, Ares was the first to father a child in the bloodline, and the blood kept Ares gifts.  The Aphrodite blessing is still in effect, but it only applies to those of the bloodline who get passed on the godsblood.  If someone's born human, then they get the blessing.  That helps up the odds of the next generation getting a new dose by attracting the gods.  Gradually, more gods fathered and mothered children in the bloodline.  Ares was still predominant for the most part though, and the twins' great grandfather started Black Munitions, an ammunition company.


The eldest Black child, Daniel, was born to Dylan and his girlfriend at the time, Katherina Dennis.  The child had Kronos the titan's blood.  Daniel is a demi-titan.  Basically, the child wasn't Dylan's, it was Kronos' child.  Dylan was better than a lot of godsblood families could have been in his position, but it was still less than kind.  He took care of the child though when Katherina was killed by a hydra on a trip to the sea to get in touch with Dylan's Poseidon blood.  He married later on, to Olivia Turner.  She gave birth to a set of twins, children of Athena.  Don't think too hard on it.  It kind of worked and made Olivia a sort of surrogate, but it wasn't like anyone cheated on anyone with Athena.  Besides which, in the Black family they don't look nearly as harshly on cheating as long as it's with a god or goddess.  It's kind of par for the course.  Dylan and Olivia had a dream of Athena...well...you know.  Olivia wasn't straight after all, so it worked in Athena's favour.  Basically they both dreamt separately of Athena at the same time.  Buuuuuttt it wasn't exactly a dreaaammmm so there's that.


Jennifer and Jessica didn't exactly have a normal childhood.  Being in a family with so much godblood meant that even before their own godblood awakened, they were being trained to defend themselves.  They were particularly adept at gymnastics.  They were doing interesting gymnastic maneuvers with each other by the time they were ten.  After ten, they began their training with weapons (highly supervised, I assure you.)



Adolescence: Jennifer's Athena blood awoke when she was fourteen when she was trying to make a scarf for home economics.  She discovered she was able to crochet it very very quickly.  It was really that simple.  That being said, when she came home that day and discovered Jessica hadn't awoken yet, they cried.  They were afraid of being separated because they knew they were strongest as a team.  That and they were a couple of teenage girls whose best friend was their sister.  What did you expect?


After the school picked up Jen a week later, Jess tried very hard to manage at school.  Without her sister though, the stress kind of got to her.  She tried to work out the extra aggression in the gym with the dummies.  And that's when she picked up a sword she hadn't been very good at lately.  And that's basically when her Athena's blood awakened because she was much much better at it.  When she was walking home that day, a chimera attacked her.  She wasn't too far from home, but she ran.  It followed her, but luckily the Blacks like to hang up swords in their entryway as decoration.  She grabbed the two crossed scimitars and she was a hell of a lot better with them.  Good enough that she was able to kill the Chimera.  Dylan wasn't too happy about that since the Chimera is a bad omen for seamen and HELLO HE'S A FREAKIN' SON OF POSEIDON.  She didn't connect that her powers had awakened, but he connected that it was likely part of her gift instead of solely being her lessons and he phoned up the school to let them know Jessica was to follow her twin to the school.  


They were understandably close to the top of the class in weapons knowledge and use.  That and teamwork, for obvious reasons.  Thanks to their instructors they became stronger individually too.  Their real trump card is when they're together though.


It is also worth noting that they have tested each other and honed their minds to remember knowledge pertaining to monster destruction.  That being said, it is not honed to the level of a demi-god with that as a power.  It is simply a human level.

They want to enter the Special Police Force eventually.  They're new graduates who have enrolled in the university.
