Being part of the Special Police Force meant he had to keep himself fit. Who knew when he'd have to decapitate a minotaur to save some poor kid? As he went through his workout for the day, he looked around the gym. It was a good facility, and he'd been taking advantage of it for years now. Today it seemed quieter than usual. Tyler stretched his arms behind his head and yawned. He stepped onto the treadmill to run. Hey, monsters could be fast and he couldn't always rely on his wings. Although those WERE handy sometimes. Although his top priority was his work-out, it would've been preferable had there been someone to talk to. After all, his work-out didn't take THAT long, and having an interesting conversation with somebody would've left him feeling much better about his day.

It would appear that serendipity is in the air, as Felandria has arrived to get a workout in, gotta keep in shape between games, especially when you're team captain, there's an example to set.
And, oh, hey, someone is here!
Fel makes her way over to the treadmills and climbs on to one, a few away from Tyler,
She looks over to acknowledge him and starts running.
Tyler saw the woman walk in and took note of the fitness of her body. And fiery red hair. That's when it clicked and his eyebrows raised. His cousin Michel Leclaire had mentioned a new addition to the family with bright red hair. Well now Tyler had to go say hi. He turned off the treadmill and walked over, stepping onto the nearest one.
"I hope it's not too obnoxious of me to come over and say hi. I don't mean to be a bother so feel free to tell me to buzz off." He chuckled.
"Name's Tyler Redmond....you wouldn't happen to be Felandria Leclaire, would you? I normally wouldn't mention it, but well...I thought it might only be polite to welcome you to our crazy family." He shrugged.
"Your vibrant hair had my cousin....well I guess our cousin...running his mouth like usual. And I'm his favourite target."

Felandria turns to Tyler, still jogging, and smiles
Guys almost never came up and talked to her, they were usually a little nervous, because of her imposing stature.
Yeah, that's me.
You must be Tyler.
She starts slowing down the treadmill until it stops.
I wouldn't say I'm new, exactly, but it's always nice to be welcome, it's been really nice to have a supportive family dynamic, not exactly what I was used to growing up.
I've heard about you a little, haven't really seen you around much, though.
He was sure he'd introduced himself so yes of course he was Tyler. He didn't say that though. She mentioned not seeing him around much and he shrugged.
"I work at the company, but other than that I try to stay out of the family and whatnot. Still haven't completely forgiven them for past transgressions. The Leclaires aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination. It's why I've kept my dad's name instead of taking on my mother's maiden name." It hadn't escaped Tyler's notice how tall the woman was. He was five foot eleven, but she was still taller than him by quite a bit.
"It's interesting that we haven't crossed paths before now though." He shrugged.
"Can I ask what environment you were in before? I mean...obviously we all had lives before Olympus Falls. Mine was a happy family life until...well until a monster got to it anyway. I guess I'm just kinda curious about your story." He shrugged.
"I'm glad you're liking it here. As for what it's like once school is done...well I'm technically still in university myself, but I'm also Special Police. I think what you go on to do after school depends on your powers. Personally, I have an ability to lead, the ability to make people more prone to telling the truth, I can talk to birds and then..." He grinned and held up a finger.
"Just a sec. What I'm gonna do might take you aback a bit, but I just don't want to ruin a perfectly good shirt." He then turned off the treadmill, pulled his workout shirt over his head and turned so his back was to her and therefore the tattoos of wings were exposed.
"See those tattoos?" Then he concentrated and from the tattoos came genuine wings. They were made of black feathers, looking both sleek and fluffy at the same time.
"I have THESE!" He grinned, turning to look at her, his wings still outstretched. He was in an Olympus Falls gym. It was safe to use his wings. He knew he'd only just met her, but he always got so pumped when he had a chance to show them off. Having genuine feather wings was really really cool to him. Tyler had a bit of childish glee everytime he could.

He heard her talk about her mother and he sighed, shaking his head.
"People can be cruel. Compared to that though, the Leclaires must actually seem nice. I mean....I'm not putting anyone down honest, but they can be a bit...what's the word...cutthroat. My mum got ostracized from the family because she was human. Then when a monster attacked and killed my dad and my mum went missing, the Leclaires discovered I was a Zeus kid and took me under their wing. Pun totally intended. So they can be nice, and they can be jerks. Depends on the person, depends on the time. Pretty much everyone has those different facets to their personality anyways." He didn't mind mentioning what happened to him. It still hurt, but he'd rather she heard the story from him instead of someone in the family like she probably would eventually. Then her eyes lit up at seeing the wings and he grinned widely.
"Right? I love them! Sometimes I go and soar over Corinth City. People seldom look up, and even if they did they would just think I was someone on a fancy hang-glider or something. People always come up with more logical explanations in their minds. And if they can't, they just don't tell anyone about it for fear of being thought crazy." He grinned.
"Are you having any trouble with your powers? Since we have some of the same ones I might be able to help. That and having someone to fly with would be kinda neat." He shrugged, trying not to seem too eager. Having someone to marvel at the skies with would be really cool. Wings had turned him into a bit of a flight nerd.
"Electrokinesis is cool though. I mean used right that could have possibilities in defending yourself. What am I gonna do? Call a flock of birds?" He laughed.
"Although to be fair, some of them can be vicious. And also some of them are downright adorable." He had no issue saying something was cute. A friendly sparrow undoubtedly was.

Look, I can understand how you feel, but I think it really does depend on how you look at it.
My mother was given up for adoption because she was human, it's true, but they made sure she ended up with a very loving family, she never even knew she was adopted.
They were afraid she would be miserable here, and I can imagine how they could feel that way, because she managed to make me feel the exact same way, honestly, I would hate to imagine what she would have been like if she had abilities.
But they took me in and made me feel welcome, and they're my family.
But so are you.
And I would love to fly with you, even if it's only for a few minutes.
That's really all I can manage.
Same with my electrokinesis, I can't do much, although they think it might be psychological.
It's be cool if I could actually throw electricity, like Dad.
"Well thing is in my case they raised my mom...they didn't know she was completely human though they expected her to have some of the godsblood automatically. When she was a hundred percent pure human...well they discovered that about her when she was at the end of her teens and they threw her out of the family. Luckily she found my dad and they got married and settled down, and then had me." He heard her talk about powers and grinned.
"Well I can fly for like an hour, so it would probably be safer for you to practice if I was around if you think about it. And yeah we're family. I mean I know we haven't met before, but our family's huge so that doesn't change anything. You seem like a cool person." He shrugged. Then he heard her refer to Zeus and his his eyebrows rose and his jaw dropped slightly. He closed it after a moment.
"Wait you call Zeus dad? That...somehow that just seems odd to me. I...had a dad already. Zeus is just...Zeus. Where I get my genes."

"Oh. Yeah everyone thinks they won't get pregnant after one night stands but it's definitely possible. Especially with Zeus. That fucker seems to have extra potent genes or something." Tyler shrugged.
"Well Zeus doesn't really hold it against anyone if they're human. He's not picky. And even if he impregnates a godsblood he doesn't know doesn't care I don't think." He smiled.
"But hey, it's good he can't keep it in his pants or neither of us would be here. And hey, depriving the world of me would be a damn shame, right?" He grinned.
"Totally joking by the way."

"You mean dick? Oh wait demigod." He had totally known what she'd meant, but he couldn't help but make the little quip.
"Well I think that last training depends on parents a lot. You seem like a very nice person, so perhaps it's something where a child can learn what not to do." He shrugged.
"I don't like to think I'm an asshole but I suppose I'm kind of biased for myself."
